The weather calls for a high of 53 on Sunday, with a mix of clouds and sun. This means there WILL be practice this week. 2:00, Cedar Hills Elementary, be there. If you cannot make it, let me know by either e-mail or getting a hold on me on Sunday morning.

Stop Reading.

We need to make sure we are also ready for the season to start. Warm up our voices and make sure our cowbells are all in rhythm. See you there!!

Just a note to the SUPERfans... I do have a dozen cowbells on order, and I hope to receive them soon. If it were at all possible, it would be cool to put some sort of Crossroads logo on them. So if anyone has any ideas for that, let me know.

All we need is some vinyl. Let's get a sign maker to make some sleeves for us. The logo will be cut and on a transfer paper for us to apply ourselves. It will look professional, and I betcha it'll be cheap. (I used to work at a sign company doing this stuff)

It'd be awesome! We gotta hop on it right away if we hope to have it done by the first game!

Not to weiry Gabe. I've been working on some designs for a new XR logo anyways. I'll have some made-up by wednasday.

We should be sure to not overstep our bounds and create a logo without leadership involved. Just a thought, but it seems a bit hasty to design a new logo for our group when everything else (including Tshirts made only last week) have the original logo. Besides, I like the current one :) it'd look hot on a new cowbell!

As the season draws near what we should be doing now over the next couple weeks is visualizing our play on the field. See yourself swinging and connecting on a line drive. Putting you glove in the dirt and fielding grounders, or see the pop-up and making the catch. Everyday visualize your attack, your success; and you will succeed. Everynight as a kid Magic Johnson would see himself make crisp perfect passes, run through the plays, and scoring on the opponets. That's what we need to do visualize, our success continually.

I think you have a valid point that they don't have to "match" the shirt per say, and leadership probably isn't too concerned with it. I was just making the point that there doesn't seem to be a need to redesign a logo and go our own separate ways, when we have a perfectly good XR logo. I guess it's the marketing side of me. XR already has one logo, our softball uniforms have another, now we're talking about getting another. Typically there is some uniformity to symbols. :) No big deal either way.
